Far be it for us to tell you how to spend your August Bank Holiday, but why not forego those traffic jams and come and relax with us!
Combine a walk in beautiful woodland surroundings with eco-themed activites to keep you and your family entertained. There'll be delicious local food to eat, laid back music to listen to, eco shopping and arty people to watch.

BLACKSMITH - Mark Constable, will be demonstrating some of his decorative iron work at the festival. He will be burning on TCV Charcoal of course. |
| CHAINSAW CARVER - Steve Iredale will be back again this year to carve a sculpture for Deepdale Wood and a raffle. Two owls are already in residence in Gainford and Barnard Castle, Whoooo will be the winner this year? During previous festivals Steve has carved a dragon, an owl and an elf and these will be on display. | ![]() |

CORACLE MAKER AND ROPE MAKING-Dave Purvis will be at Festival on Sunday and Monday to demonstrate traditional rope making and coracles. You can even have a go in a coracle if you dare! For more coracle info: www.worldofcoracles.co.uk |

PENDRAGON CRAFTS - Rachel Bates and Kim Seymour will have their garden sculptures of the Green Man on display and be selling their hand made Green Man jewellery. |

SLATE ART - Padraic Joyce hails from Ireland where he worked in slate for more than 20 years. Now in buiness on his own he makes candle holders and mirrors through to clocks and fireplaces. He also offers a bespoke service for clients own ideas. For more information www.kilronandesign.com

MASSAGE TENT - Jackie Groszmann from oceanheartshealing and greenhavenholistics will again be offering her amazing seat chair massages relaxing tense muscles and promoting WELL-BEING.
